Our PE intent is to:

  • To inspire a love of sport and physical activity that will help our children to maintain a healthy lifestyle, build confidence and resilience, and develop important social skills.
  • Follow the following principles:
1. Inclusivity: We believe that all children should have access to high-quality PE regardless of their background or ability. Our curriculum is designed to be inclusive and to offer a range of activities that cater to the needs and interests of all children.
2. Enjoyment: We believe that children learn best when they are engaged and enjoying what they are doing. Our curriculum is designed to be fun, providing children with opportunities to experience success and enjoyment in physical activity.
3. Health and wellbeing: We believe that physical education has a positive impact on children's physical and mental health and wellbeing. Our curriculum is designed to promote a healthy lifestyle and to support children's mental health and wellbeing.
