Dodgeball Medals - winners.MOVIMG_2613

Match Report

On Tuesday night we played in the dodgeball tournament at Falinge Park High School. It was part of the sports league we play in. We are top of the league at the moment and wanted to keep it that way.

There were only 2 schools at the tournament. The other school was our closest rivals – Healey. We would need to win if we were to keep our position at the top of the league.

We played just as well and won again - 2 out of 5 games won.

If we won the next game the gold medals would be ours. We started slowly and a few of our team went out, but then after some spectacular catches we won - 3 out of 5 games won. Even though we had won the gold medals we played to the end. We finished with 4 wins out of 5.

Mr Wild said he was really impressed with how we remembered the tactics he had taught us, especially M and H and Pegue which is Portuguese for catch. Thank you to Mrs Lewis once again for half supporting us.

As there were only 2 schools there, we played the best of 5 matches. We started well with a victory - 1 out of 5. We started again quickly and Mr Wild made a couple of substitutions to freshen up the team.
