Netball Club

LKS2 Netball

We went to Matthew Moss High School to play in a netball tournament.

Our first game was against St Andrew’s, and we lost this game.

We then played Belfied and won 2 – 0.

When we scored, everyone shouted really loud!

Our third game was against Lowerplace and it was 0 - 0.

We played really well and were looking forward to our final game.

In our final game we played Marland Hill. We won this game and ended the tournament with 2 wins and 1 draw.

We came second in the end, out of all 5 schools! Mr Kean and Mrs Parry chose their player of the tournament which was ME!

We really enjoyed it and we are hoping to go again next year! The player of the tournament, chosen by my team, was ME!

Thank you to Miss Nagy for organising it, and thank you to Mr Kean and Mrs Parry for taking us!

UKS2 Netball

We went to Matthew Moss High School and played Netball against 4 other teams.

Our first game was against a very good team, St Andrew’s. We drew this one and defended well.

The next game was against Norden and we lost 4 – 0. They were a very good team.

As we were feeling defeated, our next game was against Lowerplace. We scored our first goal, the scorer was Mehraj, and won 1 – 0. After this, we gained confidence.

That was our third game. Our fourth game was our last one.

We played against Belfield and brilliantly won 2 – 0. Mehraj scored both of these with amazing shots. The celebrations were insane.

This was the end of the tournament for us, and we were anxious about where we finished.

We had a special treat when we arrived at Matthew Moss. The AMAZING Miss Parveen was there with her new school.

Mrs Parry and Mr Kean chose their player of the tournament, It was me, and I am feeling amazing about it.

In the end… we didn’t come fourth or third…. We managed to come…

SECOND!

We also chose our player of the tournament… it was Fatima! Well done to Fatima! We would all like to thank Miss Nagy for organising it, and Mr Kean and Mrs Parry for taking us.
