For the Great Science Share, FS2 read “Old Bear” and then helped build a tower to get him out of the attic.

Year 1

Year 3

Year 3 were looking at friction, for the Great Science Share. They made “friction frogs” and tested helicopters, that they made.

3L Collage

Year 5

Year 5 conducted an investigation with magnets and iron filings, for their Great Science Share. They wanted to see which magnet was the strongest.  

Year 6

Year 6 used iron filings, for their Great Science Share. They had so much fun.

Science Club

The Science Club went to the University of Manchester, on Tuesday. They took part in different activities for @GreatSciShare. The main question they had to answer was “How well do natural insulations protect against colder climates?” All the children had a great time.
