Dodgeball

On Monday 4th March, 8 children in Year 4 went to Norden Primary School to take part in the CONNECT Dodgeball Tournament.

There were 5 schools taking part. These included Lowerplace, St Andrew’s, Norden, Marland Hill and us.

Each school had to play 4 matches. We got 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw and 0 points for a loss.

Our first match was against Norden. They were the best team in the competition. It was a tough match and we played well but, sadly, Norden beat us.

Our remaining matches were against Lowerplace, Marland Hill and St Andrew’s. We worked well as a team and won all 3 matches.

We made some good shots and managed to catch lots of balls, meaning the opposition lost players. Alex got a special mention from a teacher in a different school because he played so well.

We were very pleased to hear that we came second! We had a great time and would like to thank Miss Ingles for coming to support us.
